Script
1.
Good morning.
We have been learning about Preparations.
We are learning about Advent traditions which help us to
prepare for Christmas.
Here are some of our favourite Advent traditions.
2. My favourite Advent tradition is
opening the doors on my Advent calendar, because I like
the chocolates inside.
My second favourite tradition is buying my friends
presents.
I like their faces when I give them a present.
My third favourite tradition is singing carols, because I
like carols.
3. I like the Christmas tree in our
class, because it is colourful.
I like the decorations and computer pictures in our
class, because they're pretty and colourful.
I like the crib as well, because it reminds me of Jesus.
I also like the Advent candle in our class.
4. One of my favourite Advent traditions
is setting up the crib, because it reminds me of Jesus
being born.
Another one of my favourite traditions is the Christmas
tree, because the green means God without beginning or
end - and it points up to heaven as well.
I also love Christmas cards, because receiving a card
makes me feel happy.
5. Most of the things we have just
mentioned we either give to other people or we share with
other people.
It is important to remember that we do this as a way of
celebrating Jesus's birthday.
We can't give Jesus cards, or presents or candles for his
birthday, so we give them to other people.
