Pupils could mime the parts of: Jesus (carrying a cross
from picture to picture), Pilate, Mary, Simon, Veronica,
women, children, soldiers

1. Jesus is condemned to die.
Response: Jesus, Jesus we love you.
What is happening?
Jesus is innocent...
He is found guilty...
Jesus does not say a word.
2. Jesus carries His cross
Response: Jesus, Jesus we love you.
What is happening?
Jesus is given a heavy cross.
He does not refuse it.
He does not grumble or complain.
3. Jesus falls.
Response: Jesus, Jesus we love you.
What is happening?
Jesus has fallen.
He gets up again.
He does not give in. He goes on.
4. Jesus meets his mother Mary.
Response: Jesus, Jesus we love you.
What is happening?
Jesus is comforting his mother.
5. Jesus meets Simon.
Response: Jesus, Jesus we love you.
What it happening?
Simon is helping Jesus to carry the cross.
6. Jesus meets Veronica.
Response: Jesus, Jesus we love you.
What is happening?
Veronica is wiping Jesus's face.
7. Jesus meets the women and children.

What is happening?
The women and children are crying...
Jesus is sorry for them...
He is comforting them.
8. Jesus is stripped of his clothing.

Everything is being taken from Jesus...
He does not resist...
He lets it all go.
9. Jesus is nailed to the cross.

He is now helpless.
10. Jesus dies on the cross.
